Pitter Patter
Pitter Patter on my window.
It makes me wonder what I don’t know.
I try to listen real low,
but, I can’t hear what’s underneath.
I’ve got a few million years
deciding what I can hear;
only vital vibrations,
and now I want more than just surviving.
And I’m trying to understand this grand ol’ scheme
when I only have the tools that apply to me.
Well, I don’t mind if I don’t find it.
I love just spinning the wheels.
Knock, knockin’ on so many doors
trying to find a place I have not been before.
Well, I think I’d see it if I could believe it.
But, there’s only so much I know I’m looking for.
And I’m trying to understand this grand ol’ scheme
when I only have the tools that apply to me.
Well, I don’t mind if I don’t find it.
I love just spinning the wheels.
Tick-tock goes the clock,
it don’t stop the walk
for me to catch up
or try to think of
the strange things I’m made from.
And I’m trying to understand this grand ol’ scheme
when I only have the tools that apply to me.
Well, I don’t mind if I don’t find it.
I love just spinning the wheels.
